Review: Hamrick & Haynes releases new country single ‘Malibu’ (Includes first-hand account)

The song “Malibu” is extremely radio-friendly, lighthearted and uplifting. The electric guitar solo in the middle of the song is killer and quite vivacious. The listener can recall such country artists as Thomas Rhett meets Jason Aldean.

The duo Hamrick & Haynes is made up of country musicians Chris Hamrick and Nick Haynes.

The Verdict

Overall, Hamrick & Haynes deliver on their new radio single “Malibu.” It is fun and refreshing, and worth more than just a passing glance. This song deserves to take their musical career to their next level, and country radio ought to take some notice. These Georgia boys are going places. “Malibu” garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
