The moment Cosmic Gate took the Marquee New York stage the packed venue erupted with a raucous response. They had the crowd engaged the entire show thanks to their memorable tracks, most of which were from their new studio effort, Materia Chapter.One. “Fall Into You,” which features JES on lead vocals is pure magic, and a track that one would want to hear on repeat all night long.
Nic Chagall and DJ Bossi are like fine wine, where they only get better with age and experience. The German trance trailblazers received a royal welcome at their Marquee New York set.
The Verdict
Overall, Cosmic Gate was able to electrify Marquee New York on a Friday night. Despite the snow and cold weather, they had the crowd with them every step of the way. Their tunes were filled with catchy melodies and strong synths. Trance music never sounded more powerful in a live setting. Their eclectic DJ set garnered an A rating.
