Review: George Ezra pleasant on radio single ‘Budapest’ (Includes first-hand account)

His single is a track from his breakthrough studio album, Wanted on Voyage, released on Columbia Records. Cam Blackwood served as the album’s producer. Ezra co-penned the tune with songwriter Joel Pott. “Budapest” has peaked in the Top 10 in various countries worldwide, and it has topped the charts in Austria, New Zealand, as well as the Czech Republic, and rightfully so.

“Budapest” has elements of acoustic pop, rock, adult contemporary, indie, soul, blues and folk music, which will resonate well with a wide range of music listeners.

“Give me one good reason why I should never make a change, And baby if you hold me, then all of this will go away,” Ezra sings.

George Ezra’s vocals on “Budapest” are crisp, haunting and captivating. There is nobody else that sounds anything like him on the radio airwaves, and that is an added bonus. One could never tell that Ezra is only 21 years old. He p proves to music critics that he is a prodigy. Ezra’s unique voice ought to help make him the next big superstar in music. “Budapest” earns 4.5 out of 5 stars.
