Review: Gareth Emery delights on ‘Long Way Home’ music video (Includes first-hand account)

An acclaimed DJ and producer, Emery noted that his new music video is seven minutes long and that it will never be played on MTV, which for him is a good thing. He subsequently revealed in a Facebook post, that it is his “favorite video” that he and his team have ever made, and rightfully so.

The video includes some beautiful scenery (such as waterfalls, oceans, mountains, canyons) and other landscapes, as well as some memorable moments from Emery’s live shows with his fans, with laser lights and confetti, and he manages to always give them an amazing live performance. It serves as an inspiration to motivate his fans and friends explore the world around them, simply by driving.

“Long Way Home” is the 11th track on his critically acclaimed studio album, Drive, coupled with gorgeous vocals and strong, infectious synths. He has been on a roll this year with such tracks as “U” and “Dynamite,” and “Long Way Home” is equally stellar.

The Verdict

Overall, Gareth Emery’s song “Long Way Home” is a true work of musical art, and its video is an artistic and creative masterpiece. It garners an A rating. Congratulations to Emery for another job well done.
