Singer-songwriter Emma Zander released her music video for “Not a Fairytale,” where she is joined by actor Conner Floyd of “The Young and The Restless.”

The music video is a short film, which was directed by Kimberly Aboltin, and subsequently edited by Hunter Hill & Arne Christiansen.

It is quite intense, and it depicts the couple in their best of times and their worst times together (the love, the arguments, and the heartache). Anybody who has ever been through a failing romance will find it raw and relatable.

Emma Zander has solid chemistry with actor Conner Floyd in this music video, where his soap opera fans will get to see him in a different light; moreover, they help tell this story through music in a distinct and refreshing manner.

It basically reflects on a complicated relationship in the rearview mirror through a suspenseful yet atmospheric lens. The video compliments Emma Zander’s pristine vocals, and vice versa. It helps elevate the song to a higher level.

Fans that enjoyed her previous music video for “Bad Dream” with Jacob Elordi will certainly find “Not a Fairytale” to be a real treat.
