Actor and musician Ed Quinn has covered The Rolling Stones’ “Jumping Jack Flash.”

The song is upbeat and gritty. It deserves to be enjoyed for its rawness and authenticity. His spitfire rendition has nostalgic elements to it, where it teleports listeners back the late ’60s and early ’70s era.

This would be a fitting song choice to listen to while driving in your car with the windows down. It encompasses elements of rock, hard rock, alternative, indie, and adult contemporary music. The guitar instrumentation’s riffs and hooks are quite infectious.

Hopefully, this is a harbinger that there will be more new music to come from Ed Quinn.

Presently, Ed Quinn plays President Hunter Franklin on the BET series “The Oval,” created by Tyler Perry.

“Jumping Jack Flash” is available on Spotify and Apple Music. He does the original tune justice, and it garners two thumbs up.
