He began his set with the mid-tempo tune “Clockwork,” as the stage was graced in laser lights. “Long Island. How are you guys doing tonight?” Corbin asked the crowd.
“Thank you so much for that one,” he said, prior to strapping his acoustic guitar around him to sing the traditional country ballad “A lot to Learn.” Corbin was able to get the country fans to wave their hands up in the air and he subsequently incorporated it as a crowd sing-along.
“I am so glad to be on Long Island,” Corbin said. He nailed the ballad “It’s About To Get Real,” while showcasing his rich, baritone vocals, while “Lovin’ You is Fun” was more upbeat, fun and a real crowd-pleaser.
“If you came here to see country music, you came to the right place,” he said, prior to singing “The Way Love Looks.” He then paid homage to the country veterans that he grew up listening to by performing a medley of their classic hits.
His ballad “Are You With Me” was country as grits, and it was followed by his chart-topping single, the up-tempo “Roll With It.” “Dance Real Slow” is a soothing tune from his last studio album, with an infectious fiddle solo and a stunning melody.
Corbin sang the new tune “Wild Women and Whiskey,” which deserves to become another radio single in the future. Equally noteworthy were “I Can’t Love You Back” and his latest Top 25 single “Baby Be My Love Song,” which has a traditional vibe to it, with modern lyrics.
He closed with his breakthrough, chart-topping single “A Little More Country Than That,” as well as his Top 3 hit “All Over the Road.”
