Review: Dylan Scott fantastic on Ed Sheeran ‘Thinking Out Loud’ cover (Includes first-hand account)

Scott accompanies himself on piano, and he filmed a monochromatic music video, which gives the pop tune a classic and nostalgic feel. He is able to underscore the emotions in the lyrics, and he is able to deliver. He is not afraid to showcase his vulnerability as an artist. He truly makes this ballad his own, and gives it a fresh country twist.

The Verdict

Overall, Dylan Scott’s version of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” is better than the original, and no offense to Sheeran, since his original recording is brilliant as well. He is all heart and soul. His cover garners 5 out of 5 stars. Ed Sheeran would be beaming with pride if he is ever afforded the privilege to watch this stunning cover video. Congratulations Dylan for a superb rendition.
