Actor Derek Dixon delivers in the role of Dale in the hit TV series “The Oval” on BET. Digital Journal has the recap.
“The Oval,” created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry, is the No. 1 show on cable television, and rightfully so.
Dixon played Dale, a pharmacy worker, and his character had a lot of heart and compassion. He had some really nice and witty scenes opposite Brad Benedict, who plays Agent Kyle Flint.
Equally impressive were Dixon’s scenes with Javon Johnson (who plays the White House butler Richard Hallsen) and Teesha Renee (Sharon) in the car. The audience at home couldn’t help but sympathize the moment they found out that Dale is homeless, and rightfully so. Dixon brought warmth and charm to the show “The Oval.”
Hopefully, this is a harbinger for more great things to come for Derek Dixon in the future.
