Review: Darryl Worley superb on new country single ‘Lonely Alone’ (Includes first-hand account)

“Lonely Alone” is traditional country sounding (with traditional instruments such as steel guitar), and it has a retro vibe to it. The song will be a track on his upcoming studio effort. Its lyrics are very relatable, and he lures the listener in from the first verse.

Throughout his 16-year career in country music, Worley has had almost 20 hit singles, and three chart-topping Billboard country hits with the “Awful, Beautiful Life,” the patriotic “Have You Forgotten” and “I Miss My Friend.” Worley also recognizes the importance of giving back every opportunity that he can through his foundation, The Darryl Worley Foundation, his annual charity events and supporting the United States military.

The Verdict

Overall, Darryl Worley delivers on his brand new single “Lonely Alone.” It is perfect for vinyl. It is evident that country music is in Worley’s blood. This song garners an A rating.

“Lonely Alone” is available for pre-order on iTunes, and on Amazon.
