Artists Chloé Caroline and Jordan Anthony have released their new duet single “Existing” today, on March 20th.
This marks their debut collaboration and it was written during a Zoom session while they were across continents. Chloé lives in California while Jordan lives in Australia.
They collaborated on this single with producer Mikeldi Murguia, who also mastered and mixed the song.
“Like a flash in the dark in the back of your car, Remember the moment I saw who you are and I thought, ‘Sorry it’s taken me so long,’ Memories scatter in front of my eyes Have we been here before in another time? and I said ‘Feel like I’m right where I belong’,” Chloé sings in the opening verse, where she is able to lure her listeners in.
The single is a cinematic piano-laden ballad that is celebration of the miracle of sharing life with the people we love. It deserves to become a staple at future engagement or wedding ceremonies.
Chloé Caroline allows her crystalline, Elle King-esque voice to shine, while Jordan Anthony showcases his rich, rumbling vocals.
“We wanted to capture that surreal feeling of realizing you exist at the same time as someone who changes your life,” she said.
“It’s for that one person who makes everything feel better,” Jordan Anthony said. “It could be anyone, lover, friend, family. I just want it to bring people together.”
Their voices are crisp, resonant, and expressive and they blend well together. “Existing” is relatable and it can mean something totally different to each person.
