Country recording artist Charlotte Morris released her latest studio album “Wild Child” on September 29.

It opens with the poignant and soothing “Tennessee,” which instantly lures listeners in this collection.

She picks up the pace with the mid-tempo, empowering, and fun “Your Number One” and “Love Ain’t Real” is equally glorious.”

The title track “Wild Child” has a retro vibe to it, and it is followed by the haunting piano-laden ballad “Good Kind of Hurt.” “Breathe” is a controlled and resonant vocal performance.

After the stirring ballad “Time Will Tell,” it closes with the tender and atmospheric “If My Heart Had a Say,” and on an uplifting note with “This Time ‘Round,” where she leaves her listeners wanting to hear more.

The Verdict

Overall, Charlotte Morris is able to take her listeners on a musical journey via “Wild Child.” It is a diverse and expressive musical effort that features her crisp, crystalline voice. Every song has its own identity on here, and her music is worth checking out.
