Review: Cash Cash impressive at main stage of ‘Electric Zoo: The Big 10’ (Includes first-hand account)

Cash Cash (made up of Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alexander Luke Makhlouf, and Samuel Warren Frisch) opened with “Take Me Home” and it was followed by “Show Me” and “All My Love.” They interacted well with their fans and electronic listeners.

Their live performance of “Surrender,” featuring Julia Michaels, was vivacious. “Are you guys ready to ‘surrender’ your bodies to the music right now?” Cash Cash asked, and the audience responded with a resounding “yeah.”

“You are so amazing,” they told their fans. “Matches,” their collaboration with ROZES was equally divine. They took it back old school with Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me,” and “Millionaire.” An added bonus of their afternoon set was the inclusion of the throwback tune, Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee).”

ABIR served as their surprise musical guest, where she joined them on stage for a special performance of “Finest Hour.” Cash Cash brought it home with a remix of “Take Me Home.”

The Verdict

Overall, Cash Cash put on an impressive show at “Electric Zoo: The Big 10.” They were able to warm up the main stage with their catchy tracks, which consisted of older hits and newer tunes. Their set garnered 4.5 out of 5 stars.
