Review: Canaan Smith amazing on new single ‘Like You That Way’ (Includes first-hand account)

“Ain’t nothin’ ’bout you, baby, I wanna change, girl, you’re Miranda Lambert crazy and I like you that way,” Smith sings in the chorus. “You keep the sunshine in your pocket and the rain on a chain, yeah, you’re a little complicated, but I like you that way.”

Smith’s rich, baritone vocals are reminiscent of such country superstars as Keith Urban meets Jake Owen. His new single is available on iTunes.

The Verdict

Overall, Canaan Smith’s new radio single “Like You That Way” is charming, and a song that any female listener would go crazy over. The shout-out to Miranda Lambert is an added bonus, especially since this marks the first country tune that name-drops her. “Like You That Way” deserves to be his next chart-topping radio single.
