Singer-songwriter Caleb Polaha released his new country single “Mississippi Moon.”

The song is midtempo, and Caleb allows his sincere storytelling ability to shine through along with his crisp, resonant voice. With his vivid lyrics, Caleb is able to paint a vivid picture in the minds of his listeners. Joe DiBlasi served as a producer of the song.

“Mississippi Moon” has a Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty meets Mumford & Sons vibe to it, coupled with the atmospherics of High Valley (“Make You Mine”). The opening is slight reminiscent of Dolly Parton’s signature tune “Coat of Many Colors.”

This is real, authentic music with no gimmicks compared to the majority of the “bro-country” songs that are played on the contemporary country airwaves these days, which are mostly fluff.

His new song “Mississippi Moon” is worth more than just a passing glance. It has a retro vibe to it, and at the same time, it is evident that Caleb Polaha has an old soul.

“Mississippi Moon” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It garners two thumbs up.
