Review: Brett Eldredge charms on new ‘Drunk on Your Love’ single (Includes first-hand account)

His song’s music video was directed by Joel Robertson. Eldredge co-wrote the song with Ross Copperman, and they both served as co-producers.

“Drunk on Your Love” is the follow-up to his witty single “Lose My Mind.” It is a track on his critically-acclaimed album Illinois.

This single is a substantial indication that his two Academy of Country Music (ACM) award nominations for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Male Vocalist of the Year” are indeed based on merit.

The Verdict

Overall, “Drunk on Your Love” is one of Brett Eldredge’s catchiest songs since “Beat of the Music.” It is worthy of the repeat button on one’s mp3 players. It garners an A rating.
