Review: Brad Paisley soars on new music video for ‘Crushin’ It’ single (Includes first-hand account)

It was released via his record label, Arista Nashville, as the third radio single from his latest studio album, Moonshine in the Trunk. Paisley co-penned his single with Kelley Lovelace and Lee Thomas Miller, and he co-produced it with Luke Wooten.

It is an uplifting and upbeat track, where the listeners can let loose, kick back and have a good time. It has neat acoustic guitar instrumentation, as well as electric guitar and drums. It has an infectious beat, which makes it extremely radio-friendly. Towards the end, it includes such traditional country instruments as violin and steel guitar.

The song’s music video adds to its appeal, and helps elevates it to a higher level. It features animates caricatures of various noteworthy country stars as superheroes. These include such artists as Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, country quartet Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait, country duo Florida Georgia Line, country trio Rascal Flatts, as well as television host Jimmy Kimmel, and of course, Brad Paisley himself. The music video’s concept is creative, refreshing and unique. It will resonate well with his fans. Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” music video earns an A rating.
