Review: Billy Joel gives Mike DelGuidice the spotlight again at MSG show

With Billy Joel accompanying him on piano, DelGuidice showcased his operatic tenor voice on the classic “Nessun Dorma,” which would have made the late Luciano Pavarotti proud. This rendition earned them a standing ovation.

DelGuidice and Joel first performed “Nessun Dorma” at Madison Square Garden back on August 9, 2016, and it was well-received.

Aside from being a background vocalist and guitar player in his band, DelGuidice is the front-man of the Billy Joel tribute band, Big Shot that performs show regularly on Long Island.

Tonight, Big Shot will be performing at The Paramount in Huntington on Long Island, with Nine Days [“Absolutely (Story of a Girl),”] opening for them.
