Gilman began the song in a subtle fashion, and immediately broke into the high notes midway through the performance, thus showcasing his impressive pipes.
His execution of the song was poetic and it felt like a soothing lullaby. As always, he was able to convey a wide range of emotions. It was no wonder that he was declared the winner of that knockout round.

Overall, Billy Gilman was able to show once again his incredible charm on The Voice. “Fight Song” was another beautiful and pit-perfect vocal performance. Rachel Platten would be beaming with pride. He is able to deliver week after week. His future is very promising. It garnered an A.
