Tony award-winning actor and musician Ben Platt released his new single “Cherry on Top.” He will also be embarking on “The Honeymind Tour.”

Platt allows his rich, harking voice to shine on this tune. It is midtempo, vivacious, and extremely radio-friendly. Platt is able to maintain solid control over his rumbling vocals throughout its duration.

The song “Cherry on Top,” which was produced by Grammy winner Dave Cobb, is a track on his forthcoming studio album “Honeymind,” which will be released on May 31st via Interscope Records.

In addition, he will be launching his headlining “The Honeymind Tour,” which will kick off on July 18 in Boston, Massachusetts. Grammy award-winning artist Brandy Clark will serve as the opening act.

Prior to that, Platt will be performing at The Palace Theatre in New York City from May 28 until June 15.

In 2017, Platt won the Tony award for “Best Performance By An Actor in A Leading Role In A Musical” for “Dear Evan Hansen,” which featured the hit song “Waving Through a Window.”
