Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Belinda Carlisle released her new single “Big Big Love,” and has scored a major industry comeback in doing so.

This marks the ’80s pop-rock icon’s first new English language studio recording in over 25 years. “Big Big Love” was written by the iconic songwriter, 14-time Academy Award nominee Diane Warren (and 2022 Honorary Oscar winner).

Carlisle is known as the front-woman of the pop-rock group The Go-Go’s. The Go-Gos made Billboard history becoming the first all-female group to achieve a Number 1 album on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts with their seminal “Beauty and the Beat” album.

“Big Big Love” was produced by Mati Gavriel, and it was released via her own label imprint, RAF, and distributed via BMG.

Carlisle exudes a great deal of energy and charm in her delivery of “Big Big Love,” where she allows her harking, crystalline voice to shine.

The song stands out lyrically, sonically, and vocally. Belinda Carlisle is like fine wine, where she only gets better with time and experience. It will certainly resonate well with her fans and listeners.

In the song’s music video, directed by Emma Menzies, Carlisle looks as glamorous as ever, and proves that age is just a number.

“Big Big Love” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. Carlisle is once again able to make heaven a place on earth with “Big Big Love.” It garners two thumbs up.
