Review: Austin Mahone back with funky new single: ‘Dirty Work’ (Includes first-hand account)

This marks Mahone’s first official release from his upcoming full-length album, which will be out soon on Chase Records/Cash Money Records/Republic.

For this new single, Mahone collaborated with Grammy award-winning producers The Monsters and Strangerz, who have worked with Rihanna and Kanye West. It has a funky guitar swing with a retro vibe to it. It consists of boisterous horns, and an infectious refrain, thus displaying his wide range as a recording artist. He showcases his falsetto, and it is the ideal anthem for the summer season.

Overall, Austin Mahone’s “Dirty Work” single is a memorable vocal performance, and it inspires his fans and listeners to get up, dance and have a good time. It deserves 4 out of 5 stars.
