Ann Wilson of Heart released her soaring solo single “Greed,” which is from her highly-anticipated new album “Fierce Bliss.” Digital Journal has the scoop.

The lyrics of “Greed” are relatable and relevant, and she allows her rich, powerhouse to shine on this tune.

On her new single, Wilson remarked, “It is that thing in our animal nature that makes us want more.”

“Whether it be money, sex, power, or ecstasy, it fires our craving! It happens with all of us. When you turn around and catch yourself making decisions because you want the money, or because you’re caught in the headlights of glory, well, those are greedy moments,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee elaborated.

It is a track on her upcoming studio album “Fierce Bliss,” which will be released on April 29 via Silver Lining Music. She showcases some angst and attitude in this song.

If “Greed” is any indication of what her forthcoming CD is going to sound like then her fans and listeners are in for a real musical experience. It is evident that Wilson gets better with age and experience. “Greed” garners two thumbs up.

Her tour “An Evening With Ann Hilson of Heart & The Amazing Dawgs” will kick off on February 19 at Family Gras in Metairie, Louisiana. To learn more about her tour dates, visit her official website.
