Review: Amy Lee magnificent on ‘Dream Too Much’ music video (Includes first-hand account)

“Dream Too Much” is quite the inspirational and captivating tune. It is the lead single and title track from her forthcoming children’s album, which will be released on September 30. This studio effort is a true family affair, where she got many of her family members involved in the process, including her father, sisters and uncle.

The music video for “Dream Too Much” is animated and sweet, coupled with Lee’s calming voice, which is pure like the driven snow. The control she maintains over her vocals is quite impressive.

“There’s a monkey in the band, the muffins are sleeping, and the tigers in the sand, oh no, well, the grapes keep raining down and everyone is eating, but another train is rolling into town,” Lee sings, in the opening verse.

The Verdict

Overall, Amy Lee is glorious on her new music video for her single “Dream Too Much.” Her soothing voice is the perfect lullaby, and if this is an indication of what her songs will sound like on her new album, then her listeners and fans are in for a real treat. This song and its music video both garner an A rating.
