Review: American Idol champ Nick Fradiani rocks on ‘Beautiful Life’ (Includes first-hand account)

Fradiani’s vocals on his coronation tune are rich and refreshing, where the listener can easily recall Andy Grammer meets Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20. It was co-written by such songwriters as Chris Carrabba from Dashboard Confessional, Rykeyz and Ayanna Elese, and it was released on Big Machine Records.

Particularly impressive about his new single is that it will be used during coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Canada, and it starts on June 6. The game will be televised on Fox and Fox Sports 1; moreover, his charming music video features the U.S. soccer team, and it is a well-crafted music video, coupled with the highlights of his American Idol win during Season 14.

The Verdict

Overall, Nick Fradiani’s empowering “Beautiful Life” is a gem, and a great introduction to his artistry. It deserves to become the next “Home” by Phillips Phillips, which was yet another coronation tune that fared well on the Billboard and iTunes charts. “Beautiful Life” earns 4.5 out of 5 stars.
