Director Zev Deans has done a brilliant job with the music video’s concept, and he helps bring the story to life. It has a Spanish introduction to it and it features electrifying guitar riffs, as it breaks into an animated clip, where Myles Kennedy kills the lead vocals. It is a track on their upcoming album, The Last Hero, which was produced by longtime friend and producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette and mastered by Grammy winner Ted Jensen. The video is visually-striking and it displays the director’s distinct and artistic creative style.
In America, “Show Me a Leader” has been moving up the Active Rock charts on Mediabase and it was a “Top 5” most-added when it was released last week. The single sits at No. 27 on the Active Rock Charts, and climbing.

The Verdict
“Show Me a Leader” is a true hard rock anthem that reflects the frustration that the public is feeling with the current political climate, as well as its lack of trust and disillusion, and they are able to sing about those emotions. Their animated video shows the world in turmoil as symbolic politicians are broadcasting negative messages to the public. The band is on the roof with a satellite dish as they are belting out their song, in an effort to fight the harmful messages being spread. Vocally, Myles Kennedy is in his own league. “Show Me a Leader” garners five out of five garners, and the band ought to be commended for their brevity and talent.
Their music video is available on VEVO.
