Review: Adele tribute act Katie Markham soars on her rendition of ‘Hello’ (Includes first-hand account)

Her whistle register is controlled, and her haunting yet beautiful vocals are reminiscent of Tony-winning Broadway star Idina Menzel, which ought to be taken as a major compliment. Katie is also able to hit the high notes in the ballad’s chorus, and she does so with ease.

The Verdict

Overall, Katie Markham showcases a great deal of talent, and her music as a solo artist is certainly worth checking out. This version of “Hello” garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
