Review: Adele impersonator Lisa Martin back with When We Were Young video (Includes first-hand account)

Martin’s version of “When We Were Young” is a live vocal performance from Saturday, February 6, which features her dynamic pipes and similar to her previous songs, it is sung with maximum soul and emotion. She is able to showcase her versatility as a vocalist, especially towards the end, where she displays get control over the “young” note. In the music video, Lisa Martin even looks like Adele, which adds to its appeal.

The Verdict

Overall, Lisa Martin is able to take any song by Adele and make it her own, thus giving it her own twist. It is no wonder that she is one of the United Kingdom’s top Adele tribute acts. She earns another A rating.
