Rachel Platten honored with iHeartRadio award for ‘Fight Song’

Platten revealed the great news on her official Facebook page. She noted that after a tough couple of days, she found out that she had won her first award, an iHeartRadio award, where her hit single “Fight Song” was recognized for its lyrics as the “best written lyrics” of the year.

She went on to extend her appreciation to her fans for voting tirelessly and for believing that she could. “You lifted my heart back up and reminded me what I’m fighting for. I couldn’t love you all more. Thank you,” she posted.

Fight Song” is a track on her critically-acclaimed album, Wildfire, as well as its lead single.
