Producer Mickey Jack Cones announces great news in a clever way (Includes interview)

On Sept. 5, Cones revealed on his social networks that he and his wife, Shannon, have their first “co-production” on the way, implying that he is about to become a father, for the first time, as opposed to a country vocal duet. He revealed that the expected release date for their new miracle is going to be on March 6, 2017. Cones made the announcement on the exact day of his wife’s birthday.

Cones has exclusively revealed to Digital Journal the gender of their baby, which is seen in the actual sonogram below.

“It’s a boy,” Cones exclaimed.

At the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) awards, which took place yesterday, Mickey Jack Cones was named “Producer of the Year.”

Throughout his career in the country scene, Cones has worked as a producer with such popular country artists as Joe Nichols, Trace Adkins and Dustin Lynch, and he has enjoyed multiple No. 1 singles with all of these artists.

In addition, he has served as a recording engineer for such country acts as George Strait, Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Steven Tyler, Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Carrie Underwood, among others.
