Photo Essay: On the movie set ‘Dibukk Box’ (Includes first-hand account)

The part of the movie was shot at Front Street in New Westminster, BC where there are still old-fashioned-looking antique stores. The area, due to its specific look and character, used to be a great scenery for many movies in the past (“I, robot” with Will Smith) but now it’s undergoing very fast re-development and renovation.

According to the International Movie Data Base, the movie is about:
A young girl who buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. The girl’s father teams with his ex-wife to find a way to end the curse upon their child.
