Peter Dinklage of ‘Game of Thrones’ to star in ‘Cyrano’ musical

Peter Dinklage will be playing the protagonist Cyrano. Erica Schmidt serves as writer and director, who adapted Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac. The performances will take place from October 11 to November 24 at the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York City.

The music is by Aaron and Bryce Dessner and lyrics from Matt Berninger and his wife Carin Besser from the Grammy award-winning rock band The National‎. This Off-Broadway musical production of Cyrano is produced by The New Group.

Cyrano is a compelling new adaptation of the French classic story about unrequited love and ghostwritten letters. It tells the story of a proud man who feels unlovable but agrees to support the woman he loves for another.
