Singer-songwriter Peech chatted about his new EP “Small Town America.”

What inspires your music and songwriting?

What inspires my music and songwriting is really all those raw, personal feelings, pain, overthinking, heartbreak, and the emotions that come with them.

Music has always been my way to process and express what’s going on inside, turning those messy, complicated moments into something honest and relatable.

It’s both a release and a way to connect with others who might be feeling the same things.

How did “Small Town America” come about?

“Small Town America” came from a place of reflection and storytelling. After years of growing up in a close-knit community, I wanted to capture what it feels like to leave that world behind, the warmth, the struggles, and the bittersweet memories that stay with you.

It’s a collection of songs that paint a picture of small-town life, both the beauty and the challenges, while also exploring how those experiences shape who you become.

The EP grew naturally from those feelings and stories I needed to share.

How does it feel to be an artist in the digital age?

Being an artist in the digital age is a wild mix of opportunity and challenge. On one hand, it’s amazing how platforms like TikTok and streaming services let me share my music with people all over the world instantly.

At the same time, there’s a lot of noise and pressure to constantly create and stay visible.

For me, it’s about finding balance, using the tools to connect authentically while staying true to my own voice and story.

What do your plans for the future include?

My plans for the future include continuing to write and release music that feels honest and true to my story.

I want to keep growing as an artist, connecting with fans through live shows, and exploring new sounds and collaborations.

Beyond that, I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, both personally and creatively and to keep sharing that with the people who listen.

What is your advice for young and emerging artists?

My advice for young and emerging artists is to stay patient and true to yourself. It’s easy to get caught up in trends or compare yourself to others, but the most important thing is to find your own voice and tell your own story.

Keep working on your craft, don’t be afraid to be vulnerable, and remember that growth takes time.

Also, build genuine connections, not just for your career, but because music is about people and community. Stay consistent, stay passionate, and trust the process.

Which artists would you like to do a dream collab with someday?

I have a few dream collaborators I’d love to work with someday.

Jelly Roll for his honest, gritty storytelling; Post Malone because of his unique way of blending genres; Bon Iver for their incredible atmospheric and emotional sound; and The Lumineers, whose folk-rooted vibe really resonates with me.

Working with any of them would be an amazing way to push my music in new and exciting directions.

What does the word success mean to you?

To me, success isn’t just about numbers or fame, it’s about staying true to my story and creating music that genuinely connects with people.

It means growing as an artist and as a person, being able to share my experiences honestly, and knowing that my music makes an impact, even if it’s just for one listener.

Success is finding fulfillment in the journey.

What would you like to tell our readers about your new music? (What’s the one thing you want them to get out of it)

I want listeners to feel the honesty and heart behind every song. This music is about real stories, real emotions, and the messy, beautiful journey of figuring out who you are and where you come from.

If they take away anything, I hope it’s a sense of connection, that they feel seen, understood, and maybe even a little less alone.
