The acclaimed DJ noted that it has been three months ever since his life had changed in a way that he did not think was possible, when he fell in Utrecht from the “A State of Trance” stage. As a result, it has been the most difficult challenge that he has ever been through in life. He shared that there is a long road ahead for him to make a complete recovery, but he is optimistic and in good spirits.
Paul van Dyk will be doing everything he possibly can to return to his passion in life (electronic music), and his desire to continue to share his music with the fans. He hopes to be able to live this second chance to the maximum, as well as “happier than ever.”
In mid-June, Paul van Dyk disclosed that he will be returning to DJing and electronic music.
He went on to thank the team of physicians, trainers, nurses and the hospital staff, who have assisted him in his recovery. “It feels like a miracle that I’m alive and an even bigger one that I’ll soon be able to follow my passion again, thanks to your help,” he posted.
In addition, he extended his gratitude for his family, friends, business partners, colleagues and team of people for their love, encouragement, prayers and support. He concluded his post my thanking his “caring” and “loving” Margarita, whom he dubbed as the “love of his life.”
