Paul van Dyk suffers fall at ‘A State of Trance’ event in Utrecht

The news was initially confirmed in Armin van Buuren’s official Facebook page. “Tonight Paul van Dyk fell off the stage. He’s on his way to the hospital. He’s one of the heroes of A State of Trance Festival and that’s why we have closed the Mainstage,” the post read.

One hour ago, a post from Paul Van Dyk’s Facebook page, updated electronic music fans that a major fall did indeed occur at last night’s event. “Thank you for the overwhelming show of love and support for Paul. As you know there was an accident last night causing Paul to fall from an elevated festival stage. Paul is currently in the hospital,” it said. As soon as additional details become available on the cause of the accident or the injuries sustained by Paul Van Dyk, an an updated post will follow.
