Paul van Dyk hospitalized, stable after fall at A State of Trance

The iconic DJ and producer was performing on the main stage during “ASOT 750” on Feb. 27, and he had fallen approximately 15 to 20 feet prior to being airlifted to the hospital.

Ever since the accident, the main stage closed down for the remainder of the evening, and Armin van Buuren had cancelled his follow-up performance out of respect for Paul van Dyk.

Paul’s team members issued a statement on his official Facebook page, where they expressed their gratitude for the fans and their support. “Paul is in the hospital in stable condition and under observation,” the post read. “What he needs now is rest. We will provide another update after the next evaluation by the medical experts towards the end of this week.”
