Panic! at The Disco scores first chart-topping album on Billboard

Lead singer Brendon Urie released the new collection on January 15 via the record labels DCD2 and Fueled By Ramen. As indicated in Billboard Magazine, it sold over 190,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. Record producer Jake Sinclair co-produced the project with JR Rotem and Royal.

Death of a Bachelor is the band’s best-selling album to date, as well as their first No. 1 album. 169,000 of those copies were in pure album sales. All of the 11 songs on there were co-penned and recorded by Urie. Their previous peak spot was back in 2008, at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts when Pretty.Odd. sold 139,000 units.
