Hillary Epstein: Hillary is the lead singer of the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Fleetwood Macked. She nails all of Stevie Nicks’ classic hits including “Edge of Seventeen,” “Landslide” and “Rhiannon,” among others. Her band rocks as a whole.
Amber Ferrari: Amber is the four-time winner of “Best Singer from Long Island” by the “Best of Long Island” competition, and her band has won “Best Band- Noncover” four consecutive times. When it comes to covering songs by Madonna, Janis Joplin and Pat Benatar, Amber is a true pro, and the same holds true for her own original material. This summer, she will be premiering her “Benatar” tribute act in Port Jefferson, which ought to be a real treat for her Long Island fan-base.
Lisa Matassa: Lisa is the first female country recording artist from Long Island, and her powerhouse voice has made her a true force to be renowned with. She is known for such country songs as the sassy “Wouldn’t You Like To Know,” the liberating “Me Time,” “Somebody’s Baby” and “Sunrise Highway,” where she pays homage to her musical roots on Long Island. Lisa also does an amazing version of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.”
Sammi Rae Murciano: Sammi Rae is a rising pop sensation, who is known for her noteworthy covers of pop songs (by such artists as Adele, Ella Henderson, James Arthur and Andra Day) on her YouTube channel. She has also recorded her original song, the inspirational “Believe.”
Lisa Polizzi: Whether she is performing solo shows or concerts with her band (Lisa Polizzi Band), Lisa Polizzi is another gem on Long Island. She was featured on Fox 5 “NY’s Star of the Day.” She is able to cover songs in the following genres with ease: pop, rock, adult contemporary and even country, especially when she belts out Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” Polizzi also does the songs of Janis Joplin justice.
Salina Solomon: Salina is originally from Long Island, New York. This talented singer-songwriter and guitarist made a neat impression last year with “Nightmare,” and equally remarkable is her soon-to-be-released single “New York.”
