It consisted of her Broadway standards from Rent, Wicked and her hit “Always Starting Over” from her latest musical, If/Then, as well as the theme song for Frozen, “Let It Go.”
Global music star Taylor Swift comes in at No. 4 with her concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, as part of her “1989 World Tour.” One of the highlights included Swift bringing out the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to celebrate their win, as well as all her latest pop hits.
At No. 3 is “The Divine Miss M” Better Midler for her June 25 performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden, for her “Divine Intervention” tour, where she showcased her talent as a well-rounded entertainer: actress, vocalist and comedian.
Country-pop superstar Shania Twain comes in at No. 2 with her farewell “Rock This Country” tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which was dubbed as “electrifying.” She looked stunning and proved to still be at the top of her game musically, and that age is just a number.
When all is said and done, at No. 1 was rock sensation Melissa Etheridge’s stellar one-woman show at The Paramount in Huntington, where she played a wide variety of instruments including guitars, piano and percussion. With hits such as “Come To My Window” and “I’m The Only One,” she had her Long Island audience at the palm of her hand, while showcasing her tremendous talent and prowess as a vocalist. This concert had “future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction” written all over it.
