This year, the electronic music festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary, as part of “The Big 10.”
At No. 5, there was a two-way tie. Electric trio Cash Cash and America’s top DJ Jauz both rocked their main stage sets.
Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker ranked No. 4 with his eclectic live set at the main stage. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand, and his track “Darkside” stood out by a mile, as the fans sang along with him.
World renowned American DJ and producer Kaskade came in at No. 3 with his uplifting live set. His tracks were fantastic and nostalgic, especially his perennial classic “Atmosphere.”
At No. 2 was Martin Garrix with his headlining main stage set on the second day of the dance music festival. Garrix has been ranked as the “World’s Best DJ” by DJ Magazine for two years in a row, and it looks like he is set to claim his third consecutive title.
When all is said and done, the No. 1 electronic set at this year’s Electric Zoo was Alesso’s dynamic live performance. The debut of his infectious single “Remedy,” and his moving tribute to Avicii were both simply spectacular.
