Op-Ed: Ryan Cabrera’s Top 5 greatest vocal recordings

At No. 5 is the uptempo yet melancholic tune “40 Kinds of Sadness,” which he has consistently performed at all of his shows over the years.

At No. 4 is his infectious “Exit to Exit,” which is a neat song to jam to, especially when one is driving in their cars and stuck in a traffic jam.

“I Will Remember You” comes in at No. 3. It has such a tender message to it, and it is the quintessential songs for graduations.

At No. 2 is his signature song “On The Way Down,” which was a Top 15 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and it reached the Top 10 on the Billboard adult contemporary charts.

When all is said and done, the greatest Ryan Cabrera recording is his signature ballad “True,” which ranks at No. 1. “True” reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, peaking at No. 18, and it has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

To catch Ryan Cabrera perform some of these songs live, check him out on the My2K tour this summer, with 98 Degrees, all-girl group Dream and O-Town.
