Op-Ed: NASH FM 94.7 is the best country radio station on the East Coast

Veteran radio personality Blair Garner is heard on weekdays from midnight until 5 a.m.

Each morning, NASH FM 94.7 kicks off with their morning program, “Ty, Kelly, & Chuck,” from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., with Ty Bentli, Kelly Ford and country singer-songwriter Chuck Wicks.

Radio personality Katie Neal takes over the midday program on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Jesse Addy is heard on the radio from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and “NASH Nights Live With Shawn And Elaina” rounds out the day from 7 p.m. until midnight.

In addition, NASH FM hosts intimate “Up Close and Country” events at its newly renovated Hackensack Meridian Health Stage 17. This year alone, it has featured such distinguished country artists as Chris Young, Craig Campbell and Brett Eldredge, among many others.

NASH FM 94.7 is a part of Cumulus Media, and it is headquartered near Madison Square Garden, in the heart of New York City. This station deserves to be praised for giving their fans and listeners a top-notch and well-rounded country music entertainment round the clock. All of their radio personalities, program director (John Foxx), assistant program director (Mike Allan), should be commended for putting their listeners first. It is great to have country music back in New York City, and it doesn’t get any better than NASH FM 94.7. This radio station garners an A rating.
