Op-Ed: Jordan Rager should become next big male country superstar

His song “Southern Boy” is a poignant duet with country sensation Jason Aldean, and it been well-received by the country radio airwaves, earning an impressive amount of radio adds this week. Rager is signed to Broken Bow Records, which is home to such artists as his duet partner Jason Aldean, as well as Dustin Lynch, Jackie Lee and James Wesley.

In addition, Rager has support from such country artists as Randy Houser, Justin Moore and Jason Aldean, all of which praise him for his immense talent.

For anybody who begs to differ, all they need to do is listen to Rager’s debut country single “Southern Boy.”

The Verdict

Overall, Jordan Rager deserves to become the next big male country superstar. A major advantage that he has is that he is young (21 years old), he writes his own songs, and he is from Georgia. Ironically enough, in that state, there seems to be something in the water, since the majority of the biggest male country mega-stars hail from Georgia (Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell and Alan Jackson to name a few).
