Kevin Bloody Wilson: The legendary Australian comedian, an icon of stand-up both at home and abroad, chatted to me in February about his upcoming tour, amusingly entitled First of the Final Farewell Tours – Perhaps. The 68-year-old father of fellow non-PC comic, Jenny Talia, also reflected on his long career and on his uncanny ability to see the funny side of almost every situation. The full piece can be read here.
Robert Davi: This Hollywood star really needs no introduction. A TV mainstay in the 1980s (he appeared on T.J. Hooker, The A-Team and L.A. Law, among other things), he subsequently moved on to film, his towering presence and natural charisma lighting up the big screen in major cinematic blockbusters such as The Goonies, Die Hard and Licence to Kill. In recent years, the 62 year old has returned to his first love: singing, paying tribute to his great friend Frank Sinatra on his 2011 album Davi Sings Sinatra: On the Road to Romance. My article in its entirety can be viewed here.
Tony Roberts: A very experienced and highly respected American stage and screen actor, 76-year-old Roberts is probably best known for his work in six Woody Allen movies, including Play It Again, Sam, Annie Hall and Hannah and Her Sisters. Our main topic of discussion was his recently released “anecdotal memoir,” Do You Know Me?. The full article can be accessed here.
Justin Sayre: Also in December, I chatted to the very flamboyant Mr. Sayre about his various projects that include writing for popular sitcom, 2 Broke Girls, hosting his own monthly show, The Meeting, and publishing Husky, his first novel aimed at young adults. The fruits of our conversation are here.
Once again, thank you all for reading and Happy New Year!
