Five men are nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series: Actor.” Who will win?

The nominees include Bryton James of “The Young and The Restless,” Jeff Kober of “General Hospital,” Aaron D. Spears of “The Bold and The Beautiful,’ James Patrick Stuart of “General Hospital,” and Jordi Vilasuso of “The Young and The Restless.”

Analysis: This seems like a two-horse race between Jeff Kober and James Patrick Stuart, both of which star on “General Hospital.” For the second consecutive year, Jeff Kober finds himself nominated in this category, and rightfully so. He played the villainous Cyrus Renault so well that he was a character that everyone loved to hate. His scenes opposite Genie Francis (who plays Mayor Laura Collins on the show) were a force of nature and a true acting masterclass.

This marks James Patrick Stuart’s third consecutive nomination in this category, he did extraordinary work this past year on “General Hospital” so it could easily go to him.

Who Will Win: Jeff Kober of “General Hospital”

Who Should Win: Jeff Kober or James Patrick Stuart of “General Hospital”
