Nick Tangorra Band talks Webster Hall show, upcoming birthday (Includes interview)

Nick Tangorra Band played at Webster Hall in the heart of New York City on August 13, as part of “OMG Music Fest,” which was a memorable experience. “It was absolutely incredible to have played Webster Hall, for what was actually our second time now. It’s always awesome to play a show in our home state of New York, but it’s even cooler when you’re playing such an iconic and legendary venue such as this.”

Thus far, Nick and his band, comprised of musical director and brother, Rafe Tangorra and guitarist Will Ahrens, has been touring extensively, bringing music to their fans. “Touring has been amazing,” Nick said. “Along the road, we’ve eaten tons of different foods, made hundreds of memories, and met thousands of fans. Every night we’d get to perform in a different city and meet the fans that got us to where we are. And plus the fact that I get to do this with my best friends is what really puts the cherry on top.”

Next month, will be a major milestone in Tangorra’s personal life, especially since he will be turning 18. “I turn the big 18 next month. Which is kind of scary because how the heck did this happen? I could’ve sworn I was a baby last week,” he said with a laugh. “Time flies when you’re having fun! I’m hoping to be able to celebrate it with the fans like I have for the past few years. Maybe, I’ll buy everyone a lottery ticket, because I can do that at 18.”
