Acclaimed singer-songwriter Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge fame) released his latest solo studio album, the critically-acclaimed “The Ides of Mach” via Napalm Records. Digital Journal has the scoop.
Kennedy reunites with longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The album opens with the mid-tempo and harking “Get Along” and it is followed by the spitfire “A Thousand Words” and the vivacious “In Stride.”
The title track “The Ides of March” is expressive and it showcases his wide range as a solo recording artist and it immediately breaks into the unapologetic “Wake Me When It’s Over.” Equally noteworthy is the bluesy and soulful “Moonshot”
Kennedy showcases his soft side on the ballad “Love Rain Down” and it is followed by the enthralling “Tell It Like It Is,” which will inspire listeners to clap along.
After the soothing “Wanderlust Begins,” it closes with “Sitting Through The Fire,” whose lyrics are pure poetry,” and on a stirring note with the ballad “Worried Mind,” where he leaves his fans and listeners yearning for more.

Overall, Myles Kennedy’s latest solo studio offering, The Ides of March, is terrific from start to finish. Each song is a musical masterpiece, and it tells a different, inspirational story that is topical and significant. It garners an A rating.
