Newton-John founded the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne in 2009. The mission of the center is to provide cancer patients with access to leading medical treatment, as well as the latest research, wellness and supportive care. The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre is considered one of the top cancer facilities in the world.
Last year, Newton-John battled cancer for the second time (her first was in 1992, and she has been in remission for 25 years).
