Eurythmics was comprised of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. They have been eligible for nomination since 2006.
As indicated by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website, the Eurythmics exploded on MTV, as well as dance-floors. They are credited for changing the world’s perception of what a pop group sounded like, and looked like. They were praised for their instrumental and production prowess, as well as their soaring vocals.
