Dale Ann Bradley headed to Kentucky Music Hall of Fame (Includes interview)

She will be officially inducted in its class of 2018. The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on May 11, 2018, at the Center For Rural Development in Somerset, where Bradley is also scheduled to perform.

For Bradley, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame honor is quite sentimental, and receiving the news brought tears of joy and smiles on her face. Coming from humble beginnings in rural Kentucky, Bradley shared that she loves her home state, as well as all of its talented artists that will be honored with her next year. It was a blessing for Bradley to have been raised in Kentucky, which is affectionately known as the “Bluegrass State.”

Most recently, Bradley was nominated for the 2017 “Female Vocalist of the Year” award by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), an accolade she has won five times in her career. In addition, Bradley’s all-girl bluegrass group, Sister Sadie, is also nominated for “Emerging Artist of the Year.”
